This installation is consist of nihonga<\/i> (Japanese style painting), robot art and Ewashi<\/i> paper art. White peacock on the photo is a robot and covered by Japanese paper \u201cEwashi\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ewashi<\/i> is a word coined by himself. (E<\/i> means picture in Japanese. Washi<\/i> means traditional Japanese paper.) Ewashi<\/i> is created in the ways combined with the traditional way and his original way. He makes some different degrees of thickness in a single sheet and you can see the pictures and patterns in the thin washi<\/i>. Please drop in and see his art installation when you come over.
