This installation is consist of <i>nihonga<\/i> (Japanese style painting), robot art and <i>Ewashi<\/i> paper art. White peacock on the photo is a robot and covered by Japanese paper \u201cEwashi\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i>Ewashi<\/i> is a word coined by himself. (<i>E<\/i> means picture in Japanese. <i>Washi<\/i> means traditional Japanese paper.) <i>Ewashi<\/i> is created in the ways combined with the traditional way and his original way. He makes some different degrees of thickness in a single sheet and you can see the pictures and patterns in the thin <i>washi<\/i>. Please drop in and see his art installation when you come over.
