Born in Kohoku-cho, Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, a place with a natural environment nurtured by Lake Biwa and a belief in nature.
He met Hirohiko Nakano, a painter and philosopher, and learned philosophy, spirituality, and form in painting.
He began his career as a Japanese-style painter with a solo exhibition in 1993.
In his search for a new method of expression in Japanese painting, he encountered the “Kyoto Rimpa” style, which has a design and excellent decorative quality that has been stripped down to nature, and aims to fuse it with the aesthetic sense and design of virtual space.
